Feed yourself spiritually in a Sunday school
class
Adult Sunday school classes have resumed.
New Testament Discussion
Mark Morey, Susan Burnette
Room 202
A continuing study of Paul's letter to the Romans.
Lively discussion is expected; an open mind and a sense of humor
are prerequisites.
Seekers Class
Stephen Neumann, Kim Talley and Darrin Murphy
Parlor
The title of the spring class will be “12 Men — 3
Years."
The study will follow the 12 Apostles' lives from
their first encounter with Jesus up to their being killed or exiled
for Him.
We will interact with Gospel accounts to witness
how these ordinary men were transformed from total ignorance about
Jesus to being the founders of the Bodyof Christ that believers are
a part of today.
We will experience their highs and lows and the
fact that all 12 did not make it to the end. Our purpose in this
adventure will be to glean from the disciples journey in order to
examine our own following of Christ and to learn to walk more intimately
with Him.
Please join us and invite a new “seeker" of Christ!
New Testament Survey
Room 210
Teachers: Bob Houchin and Kathy Jones
We would like to invite all to come to our class
to learn more about the Holy Scripture and to fellowship with us.
We would love to have you and to share your ideas with us.
We will finish Acts on or about the First week
in June. At that time, the class will decide what they would like
to discuss and study next.
This is a round-table discussion at a rectangular
table. All discussion is welcome.
Life of Faith and Obedience
in the Power of the Holy Spirit
Cissy Bankhead
Westminster Room
Practical ways of walking in the Spirit.
Kaleidoscope
David Mullin, Mary Mullin, and Jay O'Brien

We are finishing the study of 2 Samuel and the
incredible lessons pertinent to our life today that we can learn
from the life of David. Next, we progress to Kings.
Design for Living
Room 209
Teachers: Bill Landess, Bob Sanders, Jerry Shelby
and Garet von Netzer
The class is continuing its study to understand
the inherent greatness of the names that God uses to refer to Himself.
The supportive text is “The Names of God," by Ken Hemphill, former
president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
The in-depth devotional study of the names of God
is teaching us the significance of each name and the keys it possesses
to growing us in relationship with God. We want to discover that
He is our Provider, Sustainer, Healer, Shepherd and more.
“Experiencing God"
Jerry and Gay Shelby
Come and see, hear, ask and share Henry Blackaby's “Experiencing
God, Knowing and Doing the Will of God" during the church school
hour, beginning Feb. 3 in Room 204. Video, notebooks and class discussion
for those interested in their spiritual enlightenment, encouragement
and growth.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a requirement
of at least eight people committed to regular attendance, homework
and participation for 12 weeks, and so far, not enough people have
signed up. If you are interested, contact Charlotte at the church
to register. Cost for workbook will be $10.

Dinners" where two couples or singles (FPC members) invite visitors
over to their home or out to dinner. Would you like to help? Call
