You can save the church money and get The Chimes via e-mail. Just contact Jean Edwards at 373-4242 and let her know your e-mail address.
First Presbyterian Church publishes a weekly newsletter called The Chimes. If you would like to receive a copy by mail or be added to the mailing list, please contact Jean Edwards at the church, 806.373.4242.
You can also receive weekly notification that The Chimes has been posted online. To be added or deleted from the e-mail notification list, just e-mail Chimes Editor Dorsey Wilmarth. The online version of The Chimes features:
- More photographs
- Color photographs
- More timely delivery
- Accessability from any computer with an Internet connection
The Chimes is published weekly. The deadline for submissions is at noon nine days prior to the publication date, which is always a Sunday.
For example, the deadline for submitting an article for the June 24, issue would be at noon June 15.
It may be possible to extend that deadline by a couple of days with prior arrangement with the Chimes editor.
What if I have photos to submit?
We can work with photo prints, negatives or digital photos.
Prints or negatives should be turned into Jean Edwards at the church. If you want them returned, please make sure they are labeled with your name and address.
Digital photos can be e-mailed or delivered on disk. It is important that digital photos are saved in a high-resolution format and of a sufficient size to allow quality printing. If you have questions about the proper settings for your digital images, please contact Dorsey.
